GREEN WEAVE PART 2: DYEING

The next part of the green weave collection process was the dyeing. First, we had to mordant the yarn to fully infuse the colour into it, then it was dyed with three different plants. Rosemary Bracken and gum leaves.

There were three rounds of doing the dyeing process, and every time came out with a different shade of green or was completely the opposite, but a great yield of different coloured greens emerged, which was essential for this part and the collection as a whole.
